Inclusivity at Disney World

Disneyland’s popular Mickey’s Toontown has been completely renovated to a more inclusive play environment for all children, including those with disabilities. The new inclusive Toontown includes pathways and wheelchair-accessible ramps, and sensory experiences for children on the autism spectrum.

Imagineering Executive Portfolio Producer Jeff Shaver-Moskowitz shares his thoughts on the overall goal of the renovation project stating, “We’re going to try to make sure we’re thinking about every single guest in here, making sure that every little one who comes to play here feels like we’ve designed the space for them.”
