Strong Partnerships
A few members served, their families, and our Team Members recently had an opportunity to meet with Governor Wes Moore and Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller at the Maryland State House, and during our SCI Leadership Conference. We were thrilled to discuss our joint mission, putting the person being served at the forefront through strong partnerships and collaboration.
Gov. Moore shared, “I love Service Coordination because it’s the best chance for the state to be effective at its work. They know what it means to get the job done; and as a state government, that’s what we need. Every single policy and initiative that we push forward is informed by organizations like SCI because that’s where the best and most actionable ideas are coming from. Then the state can say, “What can we do to bring it scale? “Our policies must be informed by organizations like SCI, so they have the best chance of being effective.”
