SCI’s new website is now live. Whether you’re looking for services, resources, or ways to get involved, you’ll find it all in one place.
From easier navigation to better accessibility, our new site was built with YOU in mind. We did more than just change the layout and update our colors. Our updated website was developed with WCAG 2.2 AAA* as our goal so that however you’re “scrolling”, you’re able to access the information you need.
Our new website makes it easier to connect, advocate, and support the disability community. Learn more about advocacy efforts at the state and federal level. Sign up to have our weekly newsletter sent directly to your inbox. Reach out directly to our CCS or SPS teams to better understand how we can support you.
SCI was proud to work with WireMedia, a user experience design agency with accessibility at the core of their practice, to develop our updated website. Founded in 2012, WireMedia works with mission-driven organizations to build digital experiences and technology processes which work together to deliver websites that get clicks, conversions, and delight.
Access resources, explore services, and learn more about SCI’s impact — all in one place. We’ve included numerous resources and an updated glossary, both of which are searchable. You can even get to know many of our executive leaders and Board members!

SCI provides support to more than 16,000 individuals across Maryland through our Coordination of Community Service (CCS) and Supports Planning Service (SPS) programs. Compassionate and skilled case managers provide person-centered support using principles from Charting the Life Course to help individuals live their definition of a good life.
* WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) categorizes various levels of accessibility. SCI strives for WCAG 2.2 AAA, the highest level of accessibility, which ensures the greatest visual contrast and includes elements (like ALT text) for visitors using assistive devices. Information on WCAG 2.2 can be found here. Our full accessibility statement is linked in the footer and here.
