John Dumas leads SCI as President and CEO, overseeing programs that provide transformative support for individuals with disabilities and complex medical needs. With over 30 years of leadership experience, he manages finance, operations, human resources, and strategic growth initiatives to enhance SCI’s infrastructure and services. John holds degrees in Business Administration and Management and an MBA in Finance/Leadership. He is a graduate of the Leadership Maryland Class of 2017 and served for 22 years in the United States Marine Corps. His leadership fosters collaboration and innovation, advancing SCI’s mission of delivering premier case management services to individuals and families.

John Halley brings over 16 years of financial and leadership expertise to SCI, where he serves as Chairman of the Board. As Senior Vice President and Business Banking Regional Manager at M&T Bank, he has a proven track record in managing business banking teams and driving growth in the Greater Washington Market. John holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Maryland and has served on SCI’s Board since 2017. His deep understanding of finance, governance, and organizational strategy helps guide SCI’s initiatives, ensuring continued growth and sustainability for the communities it serves.

Lauren Asghari
Chair, Strategy Committee
Founder and President of Alderson Loop
Lauren Ashgari is the Founder and President of Alderson Loop, a staffing and consulting firm specializing in IT and creative projects. She is an active community leader, serving on the National Kidney Foundation and Carroll Community College boards and as a member of the Women Presidents Organization and the Baltimore Business Journal Leadership Trust. Recognized for her business acumen, Lauren has received numerous industry accolades for leadership and entrepreneurship. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Johns Hopkins University. Lauren has been an SCI Board Member since 2022, contributing expertise in business strategy, workforce development, and operational growth.

Board Director, Owner of Darby Consulting
Maria Darby is a strategic leader with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, strategy, and business transformation. She owns Darby Consulting, where she provides strategic management, communications, and project management services to nonprofit and educational institutions. Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Keswick, overseeing operational strategy and program implementation in subacute and long-term care. Committed to community service, she has held leadership roles on multiple boards in Baltimore, focusing on initiatives that drive organizational success. Maria joined the SCI Board in 2022, bringing expertise in nonprofit operations, governance, and strategic growth.

Josh Delclos
Board Director
Josh Delclos is a dedicated advocate for individuals with differing abilities. As President and Facilitator of People First, a local self-advocacy group, he leads efforts to empower individuals and ensure their voices are heard. He also served on the ARC Governance Committee for three years, shaping policies that impact those he represents. Josh has been part of the SCI family for 24 years and joined the Board in 2023. His firsthand experience and passion for advocacy strengthen SCI’s efforts to promote inclusivity, expand opportunities, and empower individuals with disabilities to lead more independent, confident, and fulfilling lives.

Vlady Gorny
Board Director
Vice President of Enterprise Risk, Exelon
Vlady Gorny is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in energy risk management. He joined Exelon Corporation in 2012, overseeing risk analytics, structured deal analysis, and strategic risk management for its international businesses. Before Exelon, he contributed to Constellation’s risk management group, working with major global organizations. Vlady holds an MBA from Rice University and the University of Houston, is a CPA, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He has been an SCI Board Member since 2017, bringing financial expertise and strategic insight.

Marlene Hendler
Board Director
Marlene Hendler is a dedicated advocate for accessible transportation and disability rights. She chairs the Citizens Advisory Committee for Accessible Transportation and co-chairs the Title 6 and Safety Committee, working to enhance transportation services across Maryland. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping policies that promote mobility, independence, and equal access for individuals with disabilities. Since joining the SCI Board in 2014, she has contributed significantly through her role on the Steering Committee, advancing inclusive initiatives, fostering collaboration with policymakers, and ensuring essential services are available to those who need them most.

With a distinguished career spanning corporate human resources, operations, and strategic planning, Kamosa brings more than three decades of leadership experience to SCI. She has served as Vice President of Human Resources for Zenetex LLC and held senior roles in healthcare, government contracting, and business management. Her expertise includes corporate planning, talent acquisition, benefits negotiations, organizational development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Kamosa is a graduate of the University of Maryland, a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR, SHRM-CP), and a Leadership Southern Maryland alumna. She is also the author of Navigating Your Way to Adulthood.

Cindy Kelleher
Former President & CEO at University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute
Cindy Kelleher is a healthcare executive with expertise in financial management, patient-centered care, and strategic market analysis. As former CEO and President of the University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Institute, she strengthened financial stability while prioritizing quality patient care. Cindy holds a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, and a Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland. She also serves on boards such as Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital and the University of Maryland Medical System Foundation. Cindy joined the SCI Board in 2024, bringing valuable healthcare leadership and financial expertise.

Chief Information Officer, Catholic Relief Services
Karl Lowe is a senior IT executive with a proven track record of driving digital transformation across industries, including manufacturing, energy, technology, and non-profits. He specializes in strategic planning, continuous improvement, and organizational change management, leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar transformation projects. Karl combines operational excellence with emotionally intelligent leadership to build high-performing global teams. He holds an Executive MBA in Organizational Leadership from Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Chemistry from Princeton University. Karl joined the SCI Board in April 2024, bringing expertise in technology strategy, process optimization, and business transformation.

Kelly Mason
Associate Counsel at Magellan Health
Kelly Mason is a distinguished legal and compliance professional with over 17 years of experience at Magellan Health, where she serves as Associate Counsel. She holds a Juris Doctor from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law and a BA in International Relations from the University of Delaware. A Certified Health Care Compliance professional and member of the Virginia State Bar, Kelly is also actively involved with the Health Care Compliance Association and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Since 2020, she has been a dedicated SCI Board Member, contributing to the Quality, Compliance, and Risk Committee.

Erin Montgomery is a seasoned business advisor with over 15 years of experience in accounting and advisory services, focusing on life sciences and government sectors. She has held leadership roles in audit committees for various Boards of Directors. Erin earned her MBA from San Diego State University and a BA in Business Administration from Goucher College. A CPA licensed in Maryland and Virginia, she specializes in financial oversight, corporate governance, and strategic risk management, assisting SCI with complex financial challenges. Since 2023, Erin has been a dedicated SCI Board Member, leveraging her expertise to guide the organization’s fiscal strategy and sustainability.

Julie Vishnyakov is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in energy trading, structured origination, risk management, and finance. She has held key leadership roles at Constellation, overseeing enterprise risk management, market risk, and structured origination, driving financial and strategic initiatives. Julie graduated magna cum laude from Towson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Global Association of Risk Professionals. Julie joined the SCI Board in 2023, bringing expertise in financial oversight, strategic risk management, and governance.

Renée Winsky is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in leadership development, economic development, and nonprofit management. She is a Senior Leadership Development Consultant at McDonell Consulting Group and the Founder and President of Bay One Group, LLC. Renée has held key leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the Maryland Venture Fund Authority and Chair of the Maryland Innovation Initiative. She previously served as President and CEO of Leadership Maryland and the Maryland Technology Development Corporation. Renée joined the SCI Board in 2022, bringing expertise in strategic planning, board governance, and executive leadership development.

Tenneille Aleshire

Tenneille Aleshire oversees SCI’s Coordination of Community Support and Supports Planning Services programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services. She began her career at SCI in 2004 as a Coordinator and advanced to her current leadership role. Tenneille holds a Psychology degree from Salisbury State University and is a graduate of the University of Delaware’s National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities. Passionate about person-centered services, Tenneille emphasizes strong relationships and quality care. She is dedicated to fostering a responsive and flexible work environment that prioritizes team member development, well-being, and continuous improvement in service delivery for individuals and families.

Matt Lasecki leads SCI’s People & Culture team, advancing the team member experience and strengthening a culture of inclusion and engagement. With over 30 years of expertise in human resources leadership, he specializes in building innovative HR programs, talent development, and change management strategies that support organizational goals. Before joining SCI, Matt held senior HR roles in healthcare and service-focused organizations, where he guided teams through periods of growth and transformation. Active in professional and community organizations, he has served in leadership roles with the Health Care Council of the National Capital Area and the Washington, DC Hospital Association. Matt holds a BA in Psychology from Millersville University and an MS in Management of Human Resources from the University of Maryland.

With over 18 years of experience in healthcare operations, she has led initiatives to enhance patient care and streamline processes. She previously held leadership roles at Johns Hopkins University and Chase Brexton Health Care, focusing on operational strategy and patient-centered care. Ajaye holds a BS in Business Administration from Coppin State University, an MBA and MPA from the University of Baltimore, and is a certified project manager. She is committed to driving operational excellence, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery for SCI’s communities and stakeholders.

Eric Silverman leads SCI’s financial operations with over two decades of experience in strategic financial management. He has held senior finance roles at The Consortium and The Renfrew Center, specializing in financial operations, growth strategy, and organizational financial health. Eric holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership and a BS in Accounting from Drexel University. A Certified Public Accountant, he focuses on fiscal sustainability, risk management, and long-term financial growth. His expertise ensures SCI maintains financial stability, enhances operational efficiency, and supports the organization’s mission-driven initiatives for long-term success.

Craig Zucker
Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer
Craig Zucker is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the nonprofit and public sectors. As Chief Strategy Officer at SCI, Craig oversees strategic planning and government relations, driving initiatives that advance SCI’s mission. Since 2016, Craig has served as a Maryland State Senator representing the 14th District. He is a key member of the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee, where he chairs the Capital Budget Subcommittee, shaping critical fiscal policies for the state. With over 17 years of public service, Craig has also served as a State Delegate and held senior positions in the Office of the Maryland Comptroller. Craig holds a Master of Arts in Government from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science from St. Thomas Aquinas College. His expertise and dedication bridge the gap between policy and impactful service.
