Service Coordination, Inc. Releases 2025 Annual Report Highlighting Impact and Innovation
FREDERICK, MD — Service Coordination, Inc. (SCI), Maryland’s largest nonprofit provider of person-centered case management for people with disabilities and aging adults, today announced the release of its 2025 Annual Report, showcasing a year of growth, community impact, operational excellence, and expanded advocacy across the state.
Since 2006, SCI has supported more than 16,000 individuals with disabilities, complex medical needs, and older adults through person-centered case management services. This year’s report highlights major milestones and expanded initiatives focused on accessibility, innovation, and inclusion.
“Our 2025 Annual Report reflects the unwavering dedication of our Team Members and the transformative impact of our person-centered case management services for people with disabilities and aging adults,” said John Dumas, President and CEO of SCI. “Every day, our team works to strengthen community connections and ensure they know where to turn for high-quality, person-centered support.”
Over the past year, SCI expanded its reach through new programs, enhanced community engagement efforts, and strengthened pathways for Marylanders to learn about and access essential services. The organization also grew to more than 1,000 Team Members, reinforcing its position as one of the largest nonprofits in Maryland’s case management sector.
SCI was honored once again as a Top Workplace at both the local and national levels, earning recognition from The Baltimore Sun, USA Today, and The Washington Post. These awards reflect the organization’s commitment to cultivating a values-driven, inclusive workplace culture.
Key accomplishments featured in the report include:
- Development of a new, fully accessible SCI website to improve service navigation and enhance the digital experience.
- Publication of the organization’s inaugural State of IDEA Report, revealing an 82% inclusion rate among SCI Team Members.
- Implementation of the UKG Workforce Management system, unifying several internal systems to better support staff and streamline operations.
- Strengthened policy engagement, including SCI’s appointment to the Waiver Advisory Council, ensuring the voices of people with disabilities and aging adults are represented in statewide decision-making.
The 2025 Annual Report also uplifts several inspiring personal stories from individuals supported by SCI. These stories underscore the organization’s core mission, to help people live with dignity, access essential resources, and build meaningful connections within their communities.
As SCI approaches its 20th anniversary in 2026, the need for person-centered care and support systems for people with disabilities and aging adults is more vital than ever. The full 2025 Annual Report is now available at www.servicecoord.org.
