World Down Syndrome Day

Each year on March 21, people across the globe come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. The Arc Maryland will spend the special occasion in Annapolis, where the First Lady, Yumi Hogan will provide a proclamation issued by her husband, Governor Larry Hogan in honor of the day. People are invited to recognize and celebrate the contributions made by citizens with Down Syndrome in our state and our world, and to raise awareness of Down Syndrome. People with Down Syndrome or the parent/family member of a person with Down Syndrome, can contact Luc Chausse (lchausse@thearcmd.org) to RSVP and get on a list for more information.
