Older Adults Program Manager

A primary objective of SCI’s FY2017-FY2019 Strategic Plan is to launch new ventures to provide case management services in the private sector. During FY18, the New Ventures committee planned SCI’s approach to launching private sector case management services to Older Adults. An early step towards this launch includes identifying a leader to create a business plan and the framework for high quality services, as well as implementing the plan. In support of a new Older Adults program development, SCI is excited to announce our new Older Adults Program Manager, Rebekah Goetz!

Rebekah has worked in the field of older adults and developmental disabilities for over 10 years in various roles, most recently as Operations Director for The Arc of Frederick County. During her time with The Arc, she completed the Maryland Conference of Executives of The Arc Leadership Program, participated in the MACS Quality Assurance and Community Living Peer Network groups, chaired The Arc’s Standing Committee, and was a member of the Western Maryland Region Quality Assurance Work Group. Her past experience includes research and implementation of best practices, case management, and nonprofit management and administration. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in management. Rebekah loves spending time at home with her 10-year-old son, husband, and pug dog. She also enjoys restoring and painting furniture, cake decorating, and baking in her free time.

Please join me in welcoming Rebekah during this exciting time in SCI’s history!
