SCI Organizational Changes – February 2020

We are pleased to announce that Nicole Corey has been selected as Supervising Supports Planner for the Southern Region.  Nicole obtained her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Health Services Management in August 2017 and immediately entered in a Masters in Management program with a concentration on Nonprofit and Association Management, which she completed in December 2019. While living in New York, Nicole worked as a Medicaid Service Coordinator at a local ARC, however after moving to Maryland in 2011, she found that she was unable to perform the same level work with just an Associate’s Degree. She was introduced to SCI while working as a Manager of a residential group home. The Service Coordinators that supported the individuals in the home motivated her to enter into a Bachelors program so that she could move out of the residential sector and into Service Coordination and Case Management. Additionally Nicole has extensive experience with the Maryland Medicaid system having worked as a Special Needs Coordinator at a managed care organization, assisting individuals with navigating the mental health system and obtaining resources for substance abuse and housing. On a personal level, she is a Taekwondo/BMX/Baseball Mom to a 6 year old boy and his 3 year old sister who wants to follow in his footsteps.

We would like to welcome Kicheko Driggins as SCI’s new Communications and Marketing Manager.  With more than 15 years in the profession, she has developed national campaigns and garnered media praise for corporate and independent organizations alike, including Black Entertainment Television (BET), PBS (Public Broadcasting Service), Virginia Oncology Associates, and Rowman and Littlefield Publishing.  Kicheko is a graduate of Hampton University and the Stanford Publishing Seminars.  She recently earned her Master’s Degree in Management with a specialization in Marketing.  An avid reader, she enjoys spending time with a good book and family.

Please help us welcome our newest Training Specialist, Shannon Walsh! Shannon has been with Service Coordination, Inc. since February 2018, first as a Service Coordinator in Baltimore County and then in Carroll County. She brings more than 4 years of experience as a Trainer, and over 7 years of experience working with people with disabilities.  Shannon has a Master’s in Human Services Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. We are delighted to have Shannon join the SCI Training team!
