House HSS Sub-committee Recommends Restoration of 3.5%!

We are very pleased to report that the House Health & Social Services Subcommittee has recommended restoration of the 3.5% community services rate increase!  The subcommittee also rejected recommendations to reduce Targeted Case Management funding and FY 18 funding for the new capped waivers. (Recall that the Senate has also rejected all of these reductions!).  We are very grateful for the efforts of HSS sub-committee chairman, Delegate Kirill Reznik, and the other members of the subcommittee.  Full Appropriations Committee decisions will be announced on Friday.  We will be in touch again then with the outcome along with any needed action.
