SCI Organizational News

We am pleased to announce the following promotions to support our continued growth as an organization.

Chrissy Peterson is being promoted from supervisor to Program Manager effective Sept 10, 2018. Chrissy will be replacing Kristen Ryan who is moving to her new role as Quality Systems Manager also on Sept 10th. Chrissy was hired In 2007 as a service coordinator and promoted to supervisor in 2014. She has been an integral part of a number of internal committees and currently facilitates the SC procedures group. Chrissy holds a B.A. in Psychology from Villa Julie College.

Jeanine Cowan is being promoted from service coordinator to supervisor effective Sept 10th. Jeanine will join the Catonsville leadership team taking Chrissy’s position. Jeanine has been a service coordinator in the Pikesville catchment since 2008, has expertise in self-directed services and recently joined the engagement committee. Jeanine earned a B.S. in Psychology from Towson University.

We are also very excited to announce that Kevin Hogan, a Service Coordinator from the Woodlawn Team has been promoted to the position of Training Specialist!! Kevin will bring his energy and knowledge to this role, built from 10 years’ experience as a Service Coordinator. Kevin has training experience in his position at Athelas Institute as well as personal training experience. Kevin has been an integral part of the Woodlawn team presenting new information in team members and has had many new team members shadow with him. His passion for educating fellow team members and helping the individuals we support will be instrumental in helping SCI grow our training across the organization.

Kevin will officially move into the Training Specialist position on Monday, September 10th.
